Yamaha Ttr 125 Sizing?
I am thinking about getting a dirtbike for my birthday and i was wondering if the yamaha ttr 125 would work for me. i am 15 and about 5 '11 ", and 150 pounds. all i want to do is ride trails and maybe a few hillclimbs. do you think this bike would fit me for a while or do you have any suggestions or better bikes for me? Yamaha Ttr Inconsistent Power Delivery, What's Wrong?
I have a '99 yamaha ttr raid here in china. i am living at a high elevation, and i just shipped the bike to a buddy at sea level. since he got the bike, he has changed the fuel filter, oil and cleaned the air filter, but he says it is constantly backfiring, and stalls out on idle at times. also, when cruising, the bike will get inconsistent with power delivery (on and off in small surges) any help? thanks! Trouble With My 2006 Yamaha Ttr-90 Dirtbike?
I am having trouble with my little ttr90. the battery is dead and i cant get the seat off to charge it. it should slide right off but for some reason it dosent want to. if someone could tell me or post a free online service manual for it that would be great. thanks! (Read answers)
Yamaha Ttr-225r Engine Upgrade?
I have a 2003 yamaha ttr-225r dirtbike. the motor needs a rebuild because it has a leaking gasket in the middle of the cylinder, bad compression, and a clicking noise. so im going to have to atleast take the cylender off which includes the timing chain and the cams. its not that big of a deal unless i find a more damaged source of the clicking noise like a rod bearing. so if im gioing to ake it apart i want to upgrade some internal parts. so the question is what are some ways to uprade the internal engien parts. im already planing on honing the cylender wider and geting a oversize high compression pistion. so any other idas? (Read answers)

I have a 2007 yamaha ttr-90. the tire popped a couple months ago and it hasent been ran since. i got the tire but when i try to start it, it dosent seem to want to. i tried sprayin some starting fluid in the air filter but it just runs for a couple seconds and then stops. (Read answers)

2000 Yamaha Ttr 225 Won't Start?
I just got it and it ran fine for a day. then the next day it wouldn 't start. i got a new battery, changed the oil, changed the spark plug. yes, there is spark. yes, there is gas. still won 't turn over. i don 't know much about carburetors. help please!!!! (Read answers)
Yamaha Ttr 225 Idle Problem Please Help?
I own a 2003 yamaha ttr 225 and whenever i run the bike it does not idle it just revs the engine really loud. for instance when i pull the clutch in to talk to my brother the engine will just go crazy and rev really loud but the main thing i am worried about is it overheating when it does that. is there anything i can do to fix this? i am trying to find the idle screw adjustment but cant find it.so telling me were that is will also help thanks alot really hope people out there can help me (Read answers)
Where Are The Idle Switches On A 2004 Yamaha Ttr-125l?
If you read my earlier questions than you 'll know my bike is having alot of issues with stalling randomly while idling or in low rpms, someone recommended turning my idle speed up (which i needed to do anyway). so does anyone know where i can find the switches?-thank you (Read answers)

I bought it brand new in september of '09. it hasn 't been ridden since june, i tried to start it up yesterday, and it wouldn 't start. i tried for a good 15 minutes before i gave up. it came no where near to starting. any ideas of what is wrong with it? or is it just that it hasn 't been started up in a while? Yamaha Ttr 225 Running Extremely Lean?
I have a 2001 yamaha ttr 225 and i let it sit for about 4 months. it ran great and now i can barely get it started with the choke on, and it will not run without the choke. when any throttle is given i acts like its flooding, but the spark plug is bone dry. also the exhaust pipe glows orange in 2-3 min of starting it up. how do adjust the air/ fuel ratio in the carb? it 's always had running problems since it was new, but now i can 't even get it to run. We bought this for like 50 dollars and we dont know why it wont start. were trying to trouble shoot it haha. if anyone can give us info on why it wont start like whats the first thing too look for to the most difficult thing to look for. we cleaned the carb already and checked the spark plug. thanks.compression also not the problem. anything else. i need as much help as possible thanks.
